The following are questions frequently asked by website visitors and potential clients.
How much do you charge for building a website?
Web design fees start at around $1500 for small straightforward projects, and fees vary according to complexity and scale of the design. Call me and let's talk, or if you would like a rough idea first, please have a look at sample Web Design Fees.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes, I most certainly do. It usually involves as much work as does building a whole new website and so costs accordingly.
How long does it take for a website to go live?
This depends on the same factors that determine the price tag on your website. The average being four weeks, a small simple website could go live in as little as three weeks, while a complex web design project could take six weeks. You should have a pretty good idea about the timeframe required for your project after we first meet for your no obligation consultation and quote.

Can you get my website to list first in search engine results?
A lot of people are working hard to stay on top of what search engines are doing. Because the algorithms change often and differ a great deal from one to the next, no one can guarantee your certain placement in the search results.
Nonetheless, there are ways to improve your website's findability, reach, popularity, search engine friendliness and thus its positioning in search engine listings. In addition, there are paid advertisements - some of which can appear at or near the top of the search results.
Do you submit websites to search engines?
All websites are submitted to major search engines. These include Google and Bing. Indexing could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Inclusion is not guaranteed.
Do you offer website hosting with website content updates?
$35 a month gets you a shared 3rd party hosting account at Webnames, Gandi or such, SSL support or a free Let's Encrypt or such SSL certificate, help with setting up email address at your domain, and up to half hour of my time reserved monthly for website changes that you request or support issues, add $10 to this monthly for dynamic websites; or if your needs are such, $50 monthly gets you similar package but with optimization monitoring and tweaking upon request with a couple hourly findability sessions annually, say one in person and one on the phone. Do you set up websites at no additional charge?
Yes. Set up and initial troubleshooting is included, as is your one year warranty.
Is there such thing as web design warranty?
A one year warranty is included; errors both technical and typographical attributable to my work will be corrected free of charge within a period of one year of project completion.
I am on a budget; can you give me a deal?
I may be able to offer 10% discount on my custom built websites to NPOs and home-based one-person businesses.
